Over 300 works, which may be ‘selected’, by the most famous Italian and French artists of the second half of the 1800’s and 1900’s. Their quality is praised in approximately ten catalogues published by public organizations. These paintings have often been utilized as illustrations within scientific, zoological and naturalistic texts, as well as in postcards and calendars. The exhibition celebrates diverse working techniques with oil paint, tempera, pastel, pencil and Indian ink drawing.
Thanks to our paintings, it is possible to exhibit and select all the species of the most typical wild European fauna, as well as many domestic species. The exhibition is provided with functional metallic frames which allow the creation of itineraries and fitting of walls. Due to its undeniable value, the requirement exists for venues equipped with alarm and appropriate insurance cover.
